A Part of Me Jewellery
Today I celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary & 20 years of meeting my husband, and I have known for months what I wanted as the perfect present, and he was very kind to accommodate my wishes!
I saw that a client / friend had commissioned a beautiful ring with her late dogs ashes in the centre and not only loved the style but also the thought behind it. It made me think though – I haven’t lost any dogs as an adult, but I still want them with me at all times!
It seems like the stars were aligned as Emma, from A Part of Me Jewellery, contacted me to see if she could have a stall at a Happy Hound Day which dog day I organise! It gave me an opportunity to not only chat with her about the idea of adding fur to the jewellery, but also try on a ring combination I’d seen on her site and fallen in love with. I was over the moon when she said she could do it!
With me always
And so here it is! I’m in love with it, and now whenever I go on holiday without the hounds (which isn’t often!), I know that they are still with me. So don’t think that memorial jewellery has to be when your dog is no longer with you.
Have you ever had something commissioned like this before? I’d love to hear!
